James joined The Second City family teaching the “Music Improv Essentials” Course (Hollywood). James writes music for sketch, musicals and pop-artists; most recently the world premier of SHOWGIRLS: an Unauthorized Musical Parody (team behind viral SCREAM’D musical parody) world premier in Las Vegas (2026). And selected in Composer Showcase (Las Vegas ‘26). Other credits include: LGTQ+ “Total Horror Show” (horror podcast musical), web series “Weird In Bed”, “Welcome to Fairneck” (podcast) and Pilots! (Sketch comedy show: New York) and finalist for Music.com New Artist Award.
