While teaching elementary school in Houston, Texas, Mike McLendon began taking improv classes at the local Comedy Sportz theater. This new hobby quickly became an obsession, prompting a move to L.A. in the fall of 2006. Highlights since then include: graduating from the Second City Los Angeles Conservatory, playing Del Close in an improvised soap opera directed by SCTV’s Joe Flaherty, teaching the youth classes at Second City LA, and traveling the globe for 9 months with Second City’s BoatCo. Mike likes to read, write, draw, and play Quidditch. Yes, that Quidditch.
