Veena Sood is an award-winning actress, known for her versatility in
theatre, film, television and one of the founders of the Loose Moose Theatre
Company & improv format Theatresports.

She is a Second City Alumni from the 1980’s in Edmonton, Alberta, where
she performed in the evening comedy shows, as well as small roles in the
original sketch comedy Second City TV series.

Veena has been a nominee/winner for numerous awards; the UBCP/ACTRA
Awards, Leo Awards, & Jessie Richardson Awards for her acting work.
UBCP/ACTRA also awarded Veena The Lorena Gale Woman Of Distinction
Award, the Sam Payne Award & she’s a recipient of Vancouver’s
Distinguished Artists’ Award – all for her contributions in humanity, artistic
integrity & encouragement of new talent.
