About the Show

Study Hall is now in session! This unique comedy show, making its Chicago debut, mixes lectures with improv comedy to create a show that is both entertaining and educational! Special guests from the world of academia in Chicago and beyond will lecture on a topic from their field after which our cast of some of Chicago’s best improvisers will use what they learned (or didn’t learn) to create hilarious scenes right before your eyes! You’ll learn a little and laugh a lot. Don’t be tardy!

Study Hall has been running regularly in Philadelphia since 2011 and will soon debut in Indianapolis. Study Hall has been performed with The Franklin Institute, Academy of Natural Sciences, Museum of the American Revolution, Drexel University, University of Pennsylvania, Thomas Jefferson University, Arizona State University, and performs yearly at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Study Hall is coordinated by Crossroads Comedy Theater, a 501c3 company operating out of Indianapolis, Indiana.
