After getting a single suggestion, the cast of six professional comedians asks the audience to choose a detective. Enjoy as they invent a tale of crime, secrets, and scandals right before your eyes. The performers will keep track of facts, follow leads, and conclude who is the murderer, all while you take in a comedy experience unlike any you’ve seen before. During the show, they’ll employ the tropes, character archetypes, and influences of Hercule Poirot, Miss Marple, Sherlock Holmes, Nick and Nora Charles, Encyclopedia Brown, and just a dash of Scooby-Doo.

Well, you could stay home and watch the same old reruns of A Christmas Story, OR you could dash through the snow to The Second City’s Jack Frost Roasting on an Open Fire. Festive family gatherings, office parties, classic holiday movies, and Mariah Carey’s entire catalogue will all be severely lampooned in this fast-paced, interactive comedy revue stuffed with seasonal songs, sketches, and, of course, a generous helping of our world-famous improv comedy. Jack Frost Roasting on an Open Fire

A merry band of thieves find themselves home for the holidays and without a present to give &#8211; they&#8217;ll need to steal once again in order to make sure they don&#8217;t ruin the seasonal cheer. In this 55-minute long form improv show, you&#8217;ll see a colorful crew of characters perform a holiday heist and steal from a despicable holiday villain in a show that echoes the thrilling highs and lows of the heist genre, with a seasonal twist!

SWIPED Presents: How The Crew Stole Christmas

Millennials take on Generation X in a battle to see which generation is funnier. The audience votes at the end of the show. Featuring some of the best comics in Chicago, Hosted by Todd Glover
