LEXI ALIOTO (she/her) (Ensemble) is thrilled to be back performing with The Second City. She is currently an understudy for Second City’s e.t.c. Revue, Oh The Places You’ll Glow! Previously, she has been seen in SC’s She The People both at home in Chicago and on tour in Boston & San Diego. She is an alumni of Second City’s Severn Darden Graduate Programs TWISTY and Infinite Sundaes. She has improvised, written, and performed all over the Chicago stages, notably: The Annoyance (Bite Sized Broadway), Baby Wants Candy, and The Playground (Queer Eye: The Musical Parody). ALEX BELLISLE (She/Her/Hers) (Ensemble) is thrilled to be performing with this rockstar group! Alex is a Chicago-based actress and comedian with a B.A. in Theatre from the University of Houston. She has appeared in the critically acclaimed She the People at The Second City’s UP Comedy Club and Woolly Mammoth Theatre in Washington, D.C. Other credits include Chicago P.D. MARLA CÁCERES (Ensemble, Additional writing) is thrilled to be performing with She The People! She was a writer for the first two iterations of the show and has also written and performed with Second City debuts in the Kennedy Center, LaJolla Playhouse, and the Arscht Center in Miami, her hometown. Marla has assistant directed e.t.c. and Mainstage revues, and directed kid shows No Grown-ups Allowed and Rudolph Runs Wild. Other credits include Piven Theatre, Annoyance Theatre, iO Theatre’s improv satire Whirled News Tonight, writing branded content at The Onion, and, her career highlight, a tampon commercial. She thanks her husband James and kids Wyatt and Juniper, the funniest people she knows.
MARY CATHERINE CURRAN (Ensemble) is so excited to perform in this show with these incredible humans! Originally from PG County, MD, she studied theater performance at the University of Maryland (Go Terps) and trained with The Second City Training Center’s Conservatory Program and iO Theater in Chicago. Curran has improvised, written, performed, and directed shows all over Chicago, and her Second City credits include: Together At Last; Happy to Be Here; Do You Believe In Madness (Mainstage, Chicago); She the People (Chicago); America: It’s Complicated (Kennedy Center, DC); and Love, Factually (Kennedy Center). Curran loves her Sister, Mom, and Grandmom; her entirely-too-large-to-name-here family; her friends who are her family; every woman who has helped her; Pointless Theater; The Annoyance; and basketball. SAYJAL JOSHI (Ensemble) grew up in Greensboro, NC where she co-founded a really cool improv comedy club called The Idiot Box. Credits include FOX’s Empire and Presumed Innocent, The Kennedy Center, The Goodman, Woolly Mammoth Theatre, The Second City e.t.c., The Second City Touring Company, Norwegian Cruise Line, The Annoyance, Laugh Out Loud Theater, The Improvised Shakespeare Company, and critically acclaimed Asian-American sketch ensemble, Stir- Friday Night! Writing and podcast credits include The Paper Machete, Just for Laughs, and Hello, from the Magic Tavern. She has a cat called Mouse, a dog called Bowie, and an awesome husband called Steve.
DARYN ROBINSON (she/her) is a writer/performer originally from Washington, D.C. She is thrilled to join the cast of The Second City’s She The People, after understudying for The Second City e.t.c. and Touring Company. She also performs with Shamilton! The Improvised Hip-Hop Musical (Baby Wants Candy), Improvised Jane Austen (iO Theater), and My Best Friend is Black (Lincoln Lodge). JEN ELLISON
Co-Director, VP of Creative As a resident director for The Second City, Jen has overseen all three Touring Companies and directed Apes of Wrath (e.t.c.) and the Jeff Nominated Do the Right Thing, No Worries, If Not (Mainstage). In April of 2024, she directed the very first Mainstage Revue, Ruthless Acts of Kindness, at the Second City’s brand-new location in New York City. Other Chicago directing credits include Collaboraction, Emerald City, Trap Door Theatre, and The Neo-Futurists, where she is an artistic associate. Dave’s #1 fan-crush. CARISA BARRECA
Co-Director Carisa is honored to be directing She the People! She is an alum of The Second City’s resident stage, where she wrote and performed in three critically acclaimed revues. Most recently she was honored to direct the 111th Mainstage Show, Don’t Quit Your Daydream! Along with the Mainstage, she also directed the award-winning show She The People, Second City’s SING OUT and Deck The Hallmark. She has had the honor of performing at Lyric Opera of Chicago with Sir Patrick Stewart and Reneé Fleming in The Second City’s Guide to the Opera at Goodman Theatre; The Kennedy Center with Twist Your Dickens; and wrote and performed in Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and Second City’s collaboration The Art of Falling. IZZY PATT
Stage Manager Izzy toured with The Second City from 2021-2023 and continues to work in various capacities within the company. Recent theatre credits include Lavender Men (About Face Theatre), ¡Bernarda! (Teatro Vista/Steppenwolf), The October Storm (Raven Theatre), The SpongeBob Musical for Young Audiences (First Stage), Carmela Full of Wishes (Children’s Theatre Company), and Pivot Arts Festival 2021 and 2022 (The Edge Theater). In addition to stage managing, they were recently traveling the world with Pina Bausch’s The Rite of Spring/common ground[s] in collaboration with the UK’s Sadler’s Wells and Senegal’s École des Sables as company manager. Izzy is a member of Actors’ Equity Association and holds a B.A. in Theatre Arts from the University of Minnesota.

For the past 10 years, she’s been hiding in the shadows at several theaters around Chicago, including The Second City and the long running show, Bye Bye Liver. LISA MCQUEEN
Music Director & Sound Design toured with The Second City Touring Company and also played sit-down runs at Atlanta’s Alliance Theater, Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Rochester’s GEVA Theater, La Jolla Playhouse, Barbados Holder’s Festival and Boom Chicago Amsterdam. This autumn, she joined the national tour of “WHOSE LIVE IS IT ANYWAY” featuring Ryan Stiles. She was Music Director for the Off-Bway Production of Wildmen! with George Wendt and The People vs. Friar Lawrence at Chicago Shakespeare with Keegan-Michael Key. She also performed MD duties for Bob Odenkirk’s Sketch Show at Annoyance Theater. A long time Annoyance Ensemble Member, Lisa has composed the original musicals: Shark Tank, the Musical, Forty Whacks, The Dead Boy Scout Musical, and Raven and The Messenger among others. Lisa is a working jazz pianist in the Chicago area and has performed at SIGNATURE ROOM, ANDY’S, WINTER’S, LE PIANO, DAVENPORT’s PIANO BAR, EPIPHANY CENTER FOR THE ARTS, MARTYRS’, QUEENIE’S and PETE MILLER’s JAZZ CLUB to name a few. JOHN KELLY
Technical Director (he/him/his) is a Chicago-based theatre technician and designer who has been the Technical Director for Second City since 2022 and is very excited to be a collaborator on Don’t Quit Your Daydream as his first MainStage Revue. Other Second City credits include lighting design for The Realish Housewives of… (Nat. Tour 2016) and Skyline’s the Limit (SC Toronto). John has also been an ensemble member with Strawdog Theatre Company since 2013 where he received Jeff nominations for the lighting designs of Great Expectations (2013/2014) and D.O.A. (2016). ZOE AGAPINAN (US Lexi Alioto and Marla Caceres) (she/her) is a California-born and Chicago-based actor, improviser and writer. She graduated from UC Santa Cruz with her degree in Theater Arts, and a minor in Economics (just in case!!). She is an alumni of The Second City’s Severn Darden Graduate Program, and a 2022 Bob Curry Fellow. Outside of The Second City, Zoe also regularly performs at The Saturday Show (Logan Square Improv) and The Armando Diaz Experience (iO Theater). AUDREY SCHIFFHAUER (US Mary Catherine Curran) is originally from Buffalo, NY, and has performed improv and sketch comedy in Chicago for 10 years, including Second City, iO Theater, The Annoyance, and CIC.
