Heather Barnes is the Director of Guest Experiences at the Museum of Science and Industry.  She led the opening of a new Science Theatre in 2008, and uses improvisation as a technique to engage guests, build team relationships, and teach science content. As a graduate of the Second City’s Conservatory program and a performer at the Second City’s Donny’s Skybox Theatre, Heather has directed, produced, and performed in several sketch comedy and improvisational shows. Recently Heather served on the board of the International Museum Theatre Alliance.  She also serves as a consultant leading educational improvisational workshops with STEM professionals across the nation.
