Kate Eddy first fell in love with Chicago and The Second City after spending the summer of 2015 taking the Improv and Writing immersion classes. She promised herself that once she graduated from college, she would move here. After earning her degree in Advertising and Business from Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers!), she made that move and never looked back.

Now serving as Senior Marketing Manager, Kate focuses on strategic initiatives to bring more people through The Second City’s doors—whether to see a show or take a class. With a passion for audience development and engagement, she works to connect new and returning patrons to the incredible experiences The Second City has to offer. A graduate of the Conservatory Program, Kate is always excited to support both the performers on stage and the students in the training center.

Outside of work, Kate loves exploring Chicago’s dining scene, spending time with friends and family, and finding new ways to enjoy the city she now calls home.
