November brings you two fresh sketch acts!

TIK TOK BOOM is a show where time is on no one’s side. Every sketch clocks in at two minutes or less, delivering bite-sized, TikTok-inspired blasts of absurdity, satire and surprise. Smart, silly, and unapologetically fast — TIK TOK BOOM is what happens when comedy meets chaos, and there’s no time to explain. Get ready for a rapid-fire roller coaster of laughs.

The cast features comedians Madeleine Brown, Kent Penaranda, Aaron Rubinoff, Miho Suzuki and Kitty Zhang. The troupe has had recent noteworthy appearances at Toronto Sketchfest, Sketch to the Death, Sketch @ Rivoli, and Montreal Sketchfest. Their individual credits as writers and performers include comedy festivals, theatre, film, and television worldwide.

Sarah Conway brings mischief and delight to the stage in a sort of Montana’s Ultimate Appetizer Combo of sketch comedy that includes characters, music, burlesque, and, of course, several wonderful dips. Her new half-hour balances real vulnerability with fast-paced absurdity. True to her alternative comedy roots, Sarah’s work is earnest, inventive, and deeply silly. She has performed solo sketch on stages across the country and won this year’s Sketch To The Death competition in Toronto. As an actor, she has performed in classical comedies like The Flying Doctor (Perchance Theatre) and one-woman dramas like The Shape of a Girl (Green Thumb Theatre). Sarah plays Officer Taylor O’Neill on CityTV’s Hudson & Rex. She has appeared on CBC’s Son of a Critch as both Reporter and Local Reporter. sarahconway.ca @sketch.yes
