A Toronto actress performing in theatre, television, film and radio, Karen has studied acting at the University of Windsor and Alberta (BFA Acting), the Banff School of Fine Arts, the National Theatre Summer Programme, (London, UK), and with many instructors in Toronto. She has produced five ACTRA Awards events and is a frequent writing contributor to Performer’s Magazine.
Alum of The Second City Touring Company, Karen has recently developed an advanced acting course for comedic improv students at The Second City Training Centre (Toronto). She looks forward to teaching it this fall!
Earlier this year, Karen was honoured to read the role of Robyn in a workshop of Brad Fraser’s latest play, KILL ME NOW.
Recent film/TV credits include; Just A Prayer, Nine Types OF Ice, The Firm (NBC), Breakout Kings (A&E), After The Rain, Murdoch Mysteries (Global), Warehouse 13 (SyFy), Dan For Mayor (CTV), A Dad For Christmas, ReGenesis (Global), and The Jon Dore Show (Comedy Network).
