Epic comedy from across the genre-verse!
From some of the people who brought you the long-running, Off-Broadway wizard comedy Puffs, Or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic and the cult hit epic Kapow-i GoGo, comes an evening of comedy celebrating all genre-based entertainment: Giant Skybeam.
Each show explores a new dimension of fantastic voyages, ripping yarns, sci-fi, fantasy, romantasy, hard boiled noir, impossible missions, tales that are meant to astonish and tales originating in crypts alike!
January’s genre is beach justice. Y’know. Catching Waves. Catching the bad guys. Watching the bay. Saving lives. Small business vs. evil developers. Slow motion running. Wayyy too many music videos. What better way to spend a cold night in North Brooklyn in the depths of winter? Do it for the bay.

Havana Club

The Infinite Wrench is a dynamic, mind-bending barrage of 30 original plays that the NY Neo-Futurists try to perform within a single hour. Each play offers something different, be it funny, profound, elegant, disgusting, topical, irrelevant, terrifying, or a song. All are truthful and tackle the here-and-now, inspired by the lived experiences of the performers. With new plays and new combinations of plays every performance, The Infinite Wrench is the Neo-Futurists’ ongoing and ever-changing attempt to shift the conventions of live performance and challenge the fourth wall head-on.
