Howl & Roar Records Presents: Rachel Manson Live Comedy Album Recording

Join us as multi-faceted comedian Rachel Manson (JFL, CBC’s New Wave, What We Do in the Shadows) records her debut stand-up album!
With shows at 7:30 and 9PM on Thursday January 16th, it’s the perfect opportunity to have dinner & drinks at The Bentwood, conveniently located just outside the John Candy Box Theatre.

Rachel Manson is a world touring comedian, writer and actor. Her standup is showcased on Episode 11 Season 5 of The New Wave of Stand Up on CBC.
Rachel also headlined Just For Laughs 42 and at Just for Laughs Vancouver. Rachel tours across the country, opening for headliners like Jared Freid, Pinky Patel, Judah Freidlander, Sheba Mason and more. She was selected in the Top 3 at the SheDevil and Devil Cup Comedy Competitions in New York. She’s also performed at the Dallas Comedy Festival, the Milwaukee Comedy Festival, the San Diego Comedy Festival, Seattle Highlarious Comedy Festival, and many more.
Rachel writes for TV and film. She has worked in project development with Debbie Liebling (Pen15) and Sam Raimi. She writes features for TUBI, with Marvista and Neshama Entertainment. Her original series Nerotica, was chosen as a MIPTV Official Selection for the Drama Pitch Category, Top 10 Selection of the Stage32 Comedy Competition and for CBC Relief Funding. As an actor, she has appeared in many commercials in Toronto and the U.S, including Visionworks, Interac, NerdWallet, the viral No Name campaign and Molson, as well as in What We Do In The Shadows Season 2 and WAYNE on Amazon Prime.

Stand-up
An always popular form in which a comedian performs their unique brand of comedy, usually with nothing more than a mic and their own courage. If you enjoy a rapid-fire night of jokes and stories, a stand-up show might be the perfect fit.
