Fools Circle Comedy is a pop-up comedy show and music series featuring Black comedians, DJ’s, and musicians. Catch them at their monthly sold out shows through out New York, and have toured to LA, DC, Oakland, Chicago, DC, and Philly whiled featured in The Cut, NY Mag, Brooklyn Mag, and more.

Born and raised in the Bronx, Petey DeAbreu brings something fresh to the world of comedy that has not been seen since the golden age of NYC entertainment. He’s toured with Broad City’s Ilana Glazer, and featured on Comedy Central’s Clusterfest. Petey is also a celebrated producer, writer, actor, host and personality.

Comedian Rhapsody is a variety show featuring original comedy songs hosted on keys by Avery Pearson (ESPYs, Historical Roasts with Jeff Ross). Special guests perform a set and original funny song with Avery and his band The Grey Streaks. The room comes alive with comedy club characters – you never know what’ll happen or break next!

Sophie Buddle is a stand-up, a TV writer, and a podcaster. Currently, she is the monologue writer for CBS’ After Midnight, where she has also appeared as a panelist. She has also appeared on “The Tonight Show”, “The Late Late Show with James Corden”, and on CBC’s “This Hour Has 22 Minutes as a correspondent and staff writer. She’s also been featured on CTV’s “Roast Battle”, JFL All Access, Kevin Hart’s LOL Network, the Winnipeg Comedy Festival and the Halifax Comedy Festival. She was a featured performer at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal and in 2022 had the esteemed privilege of delivering the Canadian Keynote Address on Comedy. Sophie released her first album in 2019, “Lil Bit Of Buddle,” which won the 2020 Juno Award for Best Comedy Album of the Year, making her the first female comic to win that award. She released the album herself so you can find it on iTunes in the genre “easy listening”, which was a mistake, but it is easy to listen to, so it’s OK. She is a three-time runner up (but fourth time’s the charm!) for Canada’s biggest stand-up contest, SiriusXM Top Comic, and can currently be seen headlining all across North America, as well as opening for Taylor Tomlinson.

From some of the people who brought you the long-running, Off-Broadway wizard comedy Puffs, Or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic and the cult hit epic Kapow-i GoGo, comes an evening of comedy celebrating all genre-based entertainment: Giant Skybeam.

Each show explores a new dimension of fantastic voyages, ripping yarns, sci-fi, fantasy, romantasy, hard boiled noir, impossible missions, tales that are meant to astonish and tales originating in crypts alike! You’re in for sweeping stories told in a very tiny room!

This February’s genre is road movies — daring getaways, family vacations, weird roadside attractions and high speed chases. Call shotgun and hop in. We’re gonna go fast.

The cult favorite character comedy show, Main Character Energy is back at The Second City Blackbox! Co-hosted by Chloe Bivona and Caitlin Briody this performance will feature original comedic character monologues from New York’s best comedians. NY Based Comedians Lucas Zelnick (Comedy Central) and Jamie Wolf (Don’t Tell Comedy) return from traveling the country for a weekly new material and crowdwork show along with some of their favorite comedians and friends.
